only with god’s help
On April 10th, we had our first ever concert. With only 3.5 months together and 7 small performances under our belts, we had to prepare a full length production. We faced hardships while doing so, but saw so many miracles as God helped us put this show together in hopes to touch lives. What made it all worth it was meeting you, and reading your feedback.
Concert Prep
The week of the concert, we were still learning new choreography for our songs, and we even learned a new song. Additionally, opener for the concert got sick and canceled the morning of. We experienced moments of stress where we doubted if we could really do it. It was important to be there for each other and be willing to let others comfort us as well. Most of all, we needed to trust that God would magnify our efforts and remind ourselves that this concert was for Him and His children.
Show Time
The evening of the concert, Yahosh Bonner miraculously was able to step in and open for us. His faith and energy was inspiring as he pumped up both us and the audience. The feeling while walking out on stage was absolutely electric and we felt so much love in the room. We praised Jesus Christ together and felt his spirit present. Many mistakes were made, but it was a night that we will never forget because of what God was able to make of it.
The following are some miracles that God made happen that night:
“My father is dying from cancer right now, he’ll be gone any day now. “Come as you are” really resonated with me because he has expressed sorrow over not being the best father and disciple of Christ, but he has faith in his savior and repentance. I could picture Christ welcoming him home soon, just as he is, because to me he was always more than good enough. Several of the songs really spoke to me!”
“I’ve been having a pretty rough couple of weeks and I’ve been feeling discouraged, overwhelmed, and alone. Recently I’ve felt some doubts about going on a mission as well. Coming to your concert tonight re-ignited my fire and desire to go on a mission and helped me remember that God and Jesus Christ know me and love me and have a plan for me.”
"HEY!!! I just want to say that you guys inspired me so much at the concert at Thanksgiving Point! I was not a strong believer in god but you guys helped me know that he lives. Thank you!"
